Neuroaffirming Learning Support

Learning that fits your child, and your reality

Support for families who need something calmer, more flexible, and built around the way their child actually learns.

Two Ways We Support Families

Flexible learning, built around your child

Curly Words now offers two distinct programs: our full-day Alternative Schooling program in Bli Bli, and our in-home Neurodivergent Schooling Support program.

Program One

Curly Words Alternative Schooling

A full-day drop-off program in Bli Bli for children who need a more engaging, flexible, and personalised way to learn.

A different kind of school day

Children spend the day in our home studio in Bli Bli exploring project-led, design-based learning built around engagement, curiosity, and real-world relevance.

Guided by a registered teacher and aligned with the Australian Curriculum, children learn through projects, technology, movement, creative activities, and hands-on experiences.

Included in the program

  • Full-day drop-off in Bli Bli
  • Project-led and design-based learning
  • Computers and resources provided
  • Access to our oval, playground, and outdoor spaces
  • Drop-and-run and transport options available
  • Run by a registered teacher
Program Two

Neurodivergent Schooling Support

One-on-one schooling support in your home, designed for children whose schooling has become difficult or overwhelming.

Who this is for

This program supports children experiencing school refusal, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, behaviour, trauma, PDA, autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent needs.

Therapeutic support in your home

Our registered teachers visit your home and work one-on-one with your child using a therapeutic, emotional, and behavioural approach.

We work closely with your child's allied health team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, support coordinators, and family members, so everyone is working together.

  • Covered under the NDIS for eligible participants
  • One-on-one support at home
  • Focus on emotional regulation and engagement
  • Support with routines, learning, and behaviour
  • Collaboration with existing allied health supports
